In 2015, I started an online book club for other avid readers who wanted to read, write about, and connect over some of the must-reads from the past. It was called “Book Club Classics,” and we read everything from The Awakening to Dracula. If you’re looking for the full book list and my book reviews and posts about the authors, you can find them here.
For 2016, Sarah and I had planned to do a similar classics-themed club, but then Emma Watson announced the start of her feminist book club. We decided to carry on the routine of writing about the books on our blogs but follow the ones chosen on the group’s Goodreads page, Our Shared Shelf. Read along with other He For She proponents, write about your thoughts, and link up with us during the last week of each month.
