Hello, everyone, and happy New Year’s Eve! Spencer and I are closing in on the home stretch of our honeymoon, which means today will be spent wandering around London and watching what is sure to be a spectacular fireworks display later on tonight! So far there has been crepe eating, ice skating, Chunnel cruising, Monet gazing, Eiffel Tower climbing, fish and chips devouring, which is to say that it has been a dream come true! Plus, I’m finally married to a total stud muffin, so could I really ask for anything more from 2014? Answer: no.
However, tomorrow begins a squeaky clean new year, and I can’t say that I don’t have a few goals for those 365 days.
Read at least one (new) book each month.
Transition to a self-hosted WordPress blog.
Maintain my current fitness routine.
Drink more water. Much more water.
Take a photo with each of the Flying Pig statues that dot Cincinnati.
Become more familiar with HTML & CSS.
Really prove my worth at work every single day.
Fully enjoy every wonderful moment of being married!
This list is a bit lengthy as far as my New Year’s resolutions typically go, but I feel confident that I can realistically keep up with all of these goals throughout the year. Here’s to a bright new year, full of hope and promise and all of the good things in the world! Welcome, 2015!
