I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t really “get” the monthly goals posts that so many bloggers do. That is, until I started trying to grow my online presence and realized that I’m much more likely to feel like I’ve accomplished something at the end of the month if I have a clear starting point at the beginning of it. I have to create goals at my day job, so why not do it for my blog, too?
March Goals
– Reach 50 followers on Bloglovin’: I don’t know about you, but when I’m not reading classics on my morning bus rides, I’m scrolling through my daily email from Bloglovin’, getting a head start on all the blogger action for the day. I’d love to grow my own following, so my posts can starting popping up in readers’ inboxes each morning.
– Participate in a Twitter chat: FOMO is real, you guys. It always happens that I jump onto Twitter just in time to see all of my favorite bloggers’ tweets about the awesome chat they just participated in. I feel like Twitter can be such a helpful tool, and it seems like a way to break into the blogger community-at-large.
– Finish out the Holders Not Folders Instagram series: In February, Elizabeth and Meg took us through cropping & framing and filters. I used VSCO for the first time ever, and it was beautiful. Now I’m so looking forward to the four topics for March, especially community!

Do you write out your own goals each month? Also, do you have any recommendations for great Twitter chats? I’m in need of some guidance.
